Fall Bonfire at Tom's!

About this event

Come join us for another long-awaited Fall outdoor/indoor event. Tom lives on a nice, seven-acre property just southwest of downtown Mocksville in Davie County.

He has a double circular driveway with plenty of gravel and grass areas for parking, a neat fire ring area in the back yard which abuts a large cornfield. Inside, there is a large living room with fireplace, adjacent kitchen and dining area and multiple clean bathrooms :).

As with similar events in the past, we will enjoy casual fellowship until around 5ish when we will break for brief introductions and prayer before having supper. So, in addition to your yard chair, please bring a healthy food or drink item to share with others.

Then around 7:30ish we will sing some praise songs either inside or outside around the bonfire (bring a headlamp if you have one). This event will initially be capped at 25 in case of inclement weather. However, if closer to the date there is no rain in the forecast, the cap will be lifted.

NOTE: It is quite difficult to find someone willing to host such an event. Please treat the house and grounds as if they were your own, or better yet, because they are the Lords. Please DO help with the clean up afterwards. Please DO NOT leave your leftovers and ensure you have your belongings.
