About this event

Step into a powerful introduction to Internal Family Systems, where every part of you has a story. In this beginner-friendly training, we’ll explore a compassionate, transformative approach that helps uncover the hidden inner world shaping thoughts, emotions, and behavior, opening the door to deeper healing, clarity, and self-leadership.

This training provides a foundational introduction to the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model and its application in clinical practice as well as your personal life. Participants will learn the core assumptions of IFS, including the concept of the mind as an internal system of parts, the role of Self as the internal leader of the team and the functions of protective and vulnerable parts. The program emphasizes a trauma‑informed, strengths‑based, and non‑pathologizing approach that supports mental health professionals in helping clients increase self‑awareness, internal compassion, and emotional regulation.

This training will be limited to 12 participants to provide a more personalized experience and will include lectures, Q&A, guided exploration of own internal system, live demo, as well as paired exercises to practice the model.

Foundations of Internal Family Systems Training has been approved by NBCC for 6 credits upon completion of program. Freedom Counseling Services is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. NBCC Approval No. SP-5367.
