- ➤ Iredell Ready is boosting local workforce skills by teaching career paths to students from fifth grade upward, including the Career on Wheels event held at Mitchell Community College. The joint effort, started in (2022), partners educators, employers, and community leaders to prepare kids for future jobs. Iredell Free News
- ➤ Iredell-Statesville Schools officials are considering cutting 22 positions next year if the district's $67.5 million expense budget is not fully funded; the board deadlocked on the proposal on March 16 and administrators plan to seek approval next month.
