- ➤ Statesville Police arrested two local men on Tuesday after an armed robbery took place at a store off Newton Drive on Sunday at about 6:01 a.m.—detectives used Verkada camera footage that led Wilkesboro officers to recover a handgun from a black 2001 Honda Accord—and the suspects are charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony conspiracy.
