Good morning, Mooresville.

Iredell-Statesville Schools received 12,458 hygiene products from The Kindness Closet, valued at $25,000, to help students facing homelessness + school drivers began delivering the kits to schools early this month.

Congressman Pat Harrigan introduced the Financial Intelligence and National Security Act to close a loophole that lets cartels and terrorists launder money through unregulated wire transfer services.

Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell supports the bill now in Congress because it will require wire transfer services to follow the same rules as banks — a move aimed at strengthening law enforcement against drug trafficking and human smuggling.
