- ➤ North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey announced the arrests of 30-year-old Alyssa Cheyenne Woolledge of Troutman and 43-year-old Michael Anthony Brown of Mooresville for allegedly staging a car accident on February 11 to collect insurance money—Woolledge faces an insurance fraud charge while Brown is charged with both insurance fraud and obtaining property by false pretense, with court dates set for May 20 and May 29.
