GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Effective immediately, the Town of Mooresville has implemented enhanced Stage 2 water conservation measures to limit nonessential water use + restrictions include outside irrigation allowed only from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. until May 31, with a two-day schedule starting June 1 and bulk water sales suspended from 5 p.m. May 22. - ➤ County Animal Services worked with the sheriff's office and state highway patrol to locate 10 wild mustangs that escaped from a local property on May 11. Residents in affected areas including Eufola Road — a known mustang sighting route — are urged to exercise caution when driving near highways. WHKY
