- ➤ The Iredell County Public Library will begin deploying its new Mobile Library in fall and is seeking resident input for the best stop locations—feedback will be collected through an anonymous online form. - ➤ A home on Cornelius Road in Mooresville suffered heavy damage from a fire early Tuesday — crews from four fire departments arrived at 6:21 a.m. and brought the blaze under control by 6:59 a.m., while the Red Cross assisted the displaced occupant and the road was closed for about two hours. - ➤ On May 23rd, Pine Lake Preparatory held its graduation ceremony at The Cove Church where 168 students became alumni and earned nearly $8 million in scholarship offers. Executive Director Andrew Moceri praised the graduates for completing 711 AP courses, over 500 community college credits, and contributing to state championships — achievements that set the stage for their future college and career paths. - ➤ Charles Kelly— a former Iredell-Statesville Schools Board member— donated 40 North Carolina flags and 40 American flags to Cool Spring Elementary to be displayed in every classroom over the summer.
