- ➤ The I-SS Board of Education unanimously approved a resolution supporting the N.C. House’s proposed budget covering 2025 to 2027 to ease budget difficulties that have limited funds for Exceptional Children programs and teacher pay. The resolution, which includes increases for beginning teachers and expanded funding for students with disabilities, was sent to each member of the General Assembly—superintendent Jeff James hopes local commissioners will also support it.
