Good morning, Mooresville.

The Charles Mack Citizen Center in downtown Mooresville was named a recipient of the 2026 Best of North Carolina Awards in Meeting & Event Facilities, honoring its outstanding service and versatile spaces for weddings, meetings, and community gatherings.

British forces won a Revolutionary War battle near Mooresville after Patriot Gen. William Lee Davidson died + his troops took refuge in a local tavern.

This historic engagement highlights the town's deep-rooted connection to the war.

NC Forest Service will launch a Disaster Mitigation Program today to lower wildfire risks for communities struck by Hurricane Helene.
