- ➤ A Mooresville man, Tylor Scott Perry, 28, was arrested on felony drug and weapons charges after officers found him unconscious on Charlotte Highway early Thursday at 3:41 a.m.—they recovered a concealed handgun, about 30 grams of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia, and he now faces charges including trafficking, possession with intent to sell, firearm possession by a convicted felon, and other misdemeanor offenses while being held at Iredell County Detention Center with no bond. - ➤ Mooresville police charged three Charlotte men after recovering stolen vehicles during high-speed chases on I-77—police are also seeking juvenile petitions to charge three minors involved in one chase. Mooresville Tribune
- ➤ Iredell County deputies executed a search warrant on Thursday at 1304 Forest Park Drive in Statesville where officers seized three-quarters of a pound of cocaine, two firearms, and $3,000 in cash before arresting Marlon O’Neal Dalton, 50, who was free on bond for an attempted murder charge—he now faces new drug trafficking and firearm-related charges with further arrests expected.
