- ➤ A local citizen asked LKN Publications why there is little signage at construction sites like the large project near Bryton as new developments continue in the area. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today the Iredell County Register of Deeds offices in Statesville and Mooresville become the first to serve as a Wildlife Service Agent and start issuing hunting and fishing licenses, including lifetime licenses, when citizens provide a certified birth certificate—staff received training and supplies from the Wildlife Resources Commission, and other registers have shown interest in the new service model. - ➤ Iredell Memorial Hospital is seeking volunteers for both patient-facing and behind-the-scenes roles as it works to ease staff duties and enhance patient care using services like music therapy & pet therapy. - ➤ Iredell County EMS announced today that all county ambulances are now equipped with Carter Kits, sensory bags filled with calming tools to help comfort children in emergencies.
