On Monday morning, Iredell County Partnership for Young Children held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at The Christian Mission facility in Mooresville to open a new center offering early learning resources and family support services.

Keegan Bissell, a 13-year-old with type 1 diabetes from Statesville, traveled to Washington, D.C. in early July as part of Breakthrough T1D Children’s Congress to urge lawmakers to renew the Special Diabetes Program & boost funding for diabetes research.
