- ➤ Iredell County Cooperative Extension director Nancy Keith will retire on *September 1* after more than 40 years of service in agriculture and youth programs, and she plans to spend more time with her family. Her long career helped farmers and local programs succeed. Iredell Free News
- ➤ HB 67 became law on July 1 and will let North Carolina health care offices hire out-of-state physician assistants and psychologists plus remove the residency requirement for foreign-trained doctors.
