Iredell County Animal Services will receive a $25,000 grant from Petco Love to support its lifesaving work for pets—funding enhancements in shelter and adoption services that help keep animals with their families.

A new organization, The PTSD, is offering support programs for veterans in Iredell County through peer-led groups, navigation help, mobile outreach, service-dog partnerships, and writing sessions.

The volunteer group is launching online meetings (to reach isolated veterans) and is looking for local partners (and free space) to expand its services.
