ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Firefighters from Shepherds, Mooresville, Mount Mourne, Troutman, Lake Norman, Denver — Sherrills Ford responded after a controlled burn from a fire pit spread near Whippoorwill Road on Wednesday at 11:09 a.m., destroying an outbuilding and damaging adjoining property with no injuries reported. - ➤ The NC Department of Public Instruction released Iredell-Statesville Schools report cards showing 4 F's, 4 A's, 9 B's and 11 C's with 19 out of 35 schools improving scores—Superintendent Jeff James said teachers and administrators should be proud despite low funding.
