- ➤ Iredell-Statesville Schools officials and the Statesville City Council met Tuesday to improve communication on school capacity and construction projects—officials shared that Cloverleaf Elementary is at 95 percent capacity and Troutman Elementary at 120 percent while outlining updates at Statesville High and plans for a new field house with an estimated cost of $4–6 million. - ➤ Local artist Dennis Huntley visited Cloverleaf Elementary School on Wednesday morning with therapy dog Dixie Lynn to cheer up second graders in Kristine Mifsud’s class—students hugged the dog and received a donated painting.
