- ➤ The Iredell County Public Library now offers a mobile service that brings books and resources directly to neighborhoods—scheduled to run regularly to help residents with limited access to the library. Statesville Record & Landmark
- ➤ Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Statesville celebrated 150 years with a service that gathered about 200 past and present members and featured special recognitions for its youngest member, Walker, and its oldest member, Evelyn. Pastor Garrett Brown said the church has always been a family—where people share faith and work together to uphold cherished traditions. Iredell Free News
- ➤ A county survey conducted from May to July shows 79% of respondents rated their quality of life as good or excellent while EMS—along with 911 and sheriff protection services—received high marks. The results, presented to the Board of Commissioners on September 16, will guide future investments in schools, public safety, and healthcare. Iredell Free News

- ➤ On Monday, September 22nd, Governor Josh Stein announced a new $50 million grant program to support local governments and federally recognized tribes in repairing hurricane-damaged infrastructure—managed by the Office of State Budget and Management.
