Iredell Christian Ministries has launched its first-ever “Stock the Freezer” fundraiser that runs through October 7 to help families facing food insecurity—offering frozen meals from Mrs. Pumpkin’s baked goods and options to pick up orders on October 17 or donate them directly.

The initiative supports ICM’s mission to aid local families in need.

Shepherds Fire-Rescue earned an improved fire insurance rating from a state inspection that now lets properties within five miles of its four stations receive lower premiums—this rating upgrade took effect on June 1 and covers its new Bethesda Road station and Ostwalt-Amity Road substation.
