- ➤ Mooresville Graded School District superintendent Jason Gardner presented state assessment data showing improved grades and overall growth, while the board approved new school improvement plans and selected delegates for the November 12 meeting. The board also reviewed policy changes on parent involvement and student device use, and the district updated its mental health plan to boost student and staff well-being — a program based on evidence and community partnerships. - ➤ Cancer survivors received free hairstyling, makeup, and other pampering services at A Day of Sass—an event held Tuesday at Fields at Skycrest.
