Karen Evans, a foster care social worker at Iredell County Department of Social Services, said donations to the Lonely Children’s Fund support foster children by funding basic needs—like warm coats, holiday gifts, and tutoring.
The contributions help give these children comfort and a sense of belonging during the holiday season.
