- ➤ Sawyer Insurance completed its long-time sponsorship of Mooresville High School football by donating $5,400 after the Blue Devils scored 27 touchdowns at home during the 2025 season (with funds split evenly between the Athletic Booster Club and Mooresville Christian Mission). - ➤ Mooresville grad Mark Baker was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament after his standout play helped Team USA Blind Soccer take bronze at the International Blind Sports Federation Americas Division 2 Championships in Costa Rica — he started three games and won two matches. Mooresville Citizen
