  • Pine Lake Prep's junior robotics team advanced to the world competition in the FIRST LEGO League, a robotics contest for students aged 9-14. The team will represent their school internationally and build on local successes — a proud milestone for the school.  Mooresville Tribune

HEALTH NEWS

  • Carolina Caring Foundation has received a $30,000 grant from Speedway Children’s Charities to support children and families in its Cardinal Kids Palliative Medicine program, which helps cover care by nurses, social workers and chaplains that insurance does not cover.  Statesville Record & Landmark
