About this event
Complete a scavenger hunt that explores the history of Rowan County! Each month, visit a featured historic site that played a part in shaping the Rowan community. Each month, a new person or place of historical significance will be featured so participants can travel through the county's history and see changes from colonial to present times. At the end of the year, prizes will be awarded to those who answer all twelve trivia questions or show proof of visitation at each location mentioned. Smaller prizes will also be awarded to those who can only get to two, six, and ten sites. To learn more, contact Amanda Brill at Amanda.Brill@rowancountync.gov or Gretchen Witt and Gretchen.Witt@rowancountync.gov.
